Printing
The main question to ask oneself before organising any printing is, how many do I need? Without the answer it will be difficult to get a quote of any real value.
As with most things the more you have the cheaper the single item becomes. This throws up some unexpected results for certain quantities, for example, the cost between 1000 and 5000 leaflets is very small yet you get five times as many. This is because the majority of time is spent at initial set up - after that it's roughly just the cost of extra paper and ink.
With the development of digital printing it is now viable to order quantities below 1000. Consider what you want to achieve. Are you producing a throw away item that has to have a minimal unit price or something that is to keep and therefore worth the extra expense per unit?
This is great news if you want personalised stationery for a celebration such as a wedding or special anniversary as it can be designed to follow any theme and include relevant photographs.
